Drop In Sessions

What is this service?

We run language drop-in sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week (term-time only) from 10-12 in the hall at YMCA Chelmsford on Victoria Road CM1 1NZ. Entry is through the white gate only (not the main reception) and the gate is open from 9.45am until 10.10am.

Our groups are split into beginner, intermediate and advanced learners so there will be a group that will be at the right level for you.

English for Women is not formal English classes but more topic-led discussions with the view to starting conversations, building confidence and making connections. We talk about a different topic each session so you can come to whichever day(s) work for you.

On Wednesdays we also offer different activities such as games and craft.

Pre-school children are welcome.

The sessions are free and there is no need to book. You will find a warm welcome and lots to talk about!
