St Elizabeth's

About

St. Elizabeth’s Day Opportunities is a safe, warm and welcoming place for the clients who attend. We provide exciting opportunities that enable our clients to develop their social skills and self-confidence, whilst promoting positive mental health and a sense of structure. We promote choice and encourage clients to make personal decisions on their preferences, and help meet individual interests by providing a wide range of activities, including activities that will benefit those wishing to develop their fine motor skills and coordination.

We offer over twenty leisure, therapeutic, creative and skill development activities both on and off-site, and a choice of three Enterprise Projects. Clients also have access to our safe and expansive grounds including accessible park, outdoor gyms, onsite canteen, apple orchard and Chapel.
The Drawing Room provides a unique opportunity for clients to develop new skills, confidence and self-expression through the medium of art, supported and guided by a team of experienced artists.
The Jewellery Project provides a realistic work environment for those wishing to develop their skills and interest in making and designing items of jewellery and other wire & bead products.
Ashvale & the Orchard Project is our horticultural project. It offers experience in planting, growing and selling a wide range of vegetables and plants, grown in our greenhouses, polytunnels and growing beds depending on the season.
We develop a yearly programme of sessions and outings every September, with ideas and input coming from clients, their families and staff. Clients can attend up to five days a week and can choose from a programme of learning, skills, fun and creative activities, including our Enterprise Projects. Clients have the option of altering their choices during the year, subject to availability.
We are a friendly, caring and experienced team supporting adults with epilepsy and other complex needs. All staff are DBS Checked and attend regular training.
